From late July to 9th October 2010, it will create a trail through the city of Newport. From the riverside to the city centre and out to the neighbourhoods; SuperDragons will encourage thousands of people to follow the trail and discover, or re-discover, their city. This is a real opportunity to provide community and education projects and SuperDragons is a community-arts initiative of Newport City Council. Modelled on the worldwide CowParade public art exhibitions, local artists were asked to submit designs with the winners being turned into community artwork by the artists themselves.
