One of Netflix's anticipated projects of 2024 in the animated department is an adaptation of Curtis Jobling's Wereworld into a CG series.Wereworld is an epic adventure fantasy series as well as a coming-of-age story produced by Lime Pictures and Jellyfish Pictures.. Netflix's Wereworld is directed by Tom Brass, whose VFX and animation credits include Captive State, The Innocents, Nova While that's sci-fi rather than fantasy, there are enough things in common with Wereworld - including the 'shades of grey' characterisation, the power of normal people to make a difference in a world of mutated teens there (as opposed to Werelords here), and the superb character arcs - to make me very happy to recommend it as a great read for Wereworld has 14 entries in the series They even fashioned the spiffing Wereworld teaser trailer between them, with the help of the lovely Tanya Rich and the gang at Qurios.
