Support Our Schools by Becoming a Substitute Teacher. July 23, 2020 — Westonka Schools is anticipating that the district will need a larger pool of substitute teachers in order to operate school this fall. Therefore, Westonka is asking all community members to consider supporting their local schools by becoming a short call sub for the district. Then, in 1915, Mound Westonka decided it was time to grow and three school boards, consisting of three individuals each, decided that they wanted to build a high school.
