This is a gentle country trail through the hills mostly following tracks and minor roads in this attractive part of South Ayrshire as you follow the Ayrshire Coastal Path. Wind your way through the countryside as you take in the great views and scenery around you. You can complete this trail as part of the longer coastal path, double back to the start, or there is the option to take public 6-9 miles, All Walking Routes, Ayrshire, Ayrshire Coastal Path, Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere, South Ayrshire. This is an easy walk between the harbours of Maidens and Dunure. Enjoy the clifftop views of the more rugged sections of coastline around Culzean Castle & Country Park and the fields just south of Dunure. Overview.
