Winx Club is an animated series co-produced by Rainbow SpA and later Nickelodeon. It was who enrolls at Alfea College to train and hone her skills. The series uses a serial format with an ongoing storyline. It premiered on 28 January 2004, becoming a ratings success in Italy and on Nickelodeon networks internationally. Alfea is a famous boarding school for fairies in training. Most of the Winx girls met and used to reside here and have a close relationship with its headmistress, Ms. Faragonda. At Alfea, fairies learn to fight evil, help their planets, or, in many cases, become queens of their planets. When Bloom and the other girls met there, they immediately became best friends and formed the Winx Club Find 160 memorial records at the Friedhof Haßfurt cemetery in Haßfurt, Bavaria. Except for a couples of scenes in Aster Dell or Gardenia, the entirety of the plot happens in Alfea or right outside of its gates. Bloom, Aisha, Terra, Musa and Stella live in the Winx suite. Sky and Riven seem to share a room in the Specialist Hall. When Faragonda and Griselda were still students, the Headmistress of Alfea was named Mavilla and training the Fairy Animals was an essential part of the education of Fairies. Later, Faragonda replaced Mavilla as the Headmistress of Alfea, 100 years before the events of Season 6. Throughout the series, Alfea was the Winx's base, school and second home. Many of them are Minor Cloud Tower Witches as well, since a lot of character designs were recycled for the students of both schools in the earlier seasons.
