Each spring, the Florida Strawberry Festival® rolls out the red carpet to welcome visitors from throughout the Sunshine State and the world. Guests come from near and far to enjoy exhibits of agriculture, commerce, industry, livestock, fine arts, horticulture, and crafts. 横浜高島屋は2024年「ストロベリーパレード」を開催中!2週間いちご尽くしとなる本イベントはスイーツやパン、お惣菜まで各店舗からいちごを使った商品が登場。銘菓百選売場には約10種のいちご大福も日替りで登場。横浜高島屋や期間 毎年3月に行われるストロベリーフェスティバルは、名産のイチゴをテーマに約1カ月ほど続くユニークな祭典。 中でもメインイベントとされ注目を集めるのが、ドラム・ストリートダンス＆スモールフロート・パレードだ。 地元の学校やバランガイからのグループが参加、ラトリニダッド市役所前でそれぞれのパフォーマンスを披露し、得点を競う。 印象的だったのが、先住民族伝統のダンス。 特に、先住民族の村がコロナ禍に脅かされたところに、イチゴの女神（？ ）が現れ、イチゴを配って村人たちを回復させるといった、4年ぶりに開催されたフェスティバルならではのパフォーマンスには心惹かれた。 地元が誇る名産イチゴと大切に受け継がれている伝統のダンスとの融合は、まさに見ものだった。 The Strawberry Grand Parade is set to roll through the streets of Plant City on Mon., Mar. 4. The route begins on Evers Street at 1 p.m. The parade will travel along Evers Street before taking a left turn on Reynolds Street.
