Here lies an ancient city. Found in the heartland of Italy, this roman civilisation features a mountain-top temple, natural stream running throughout the city, an amphitheatre and many houses throughout the town. I believe that this would make a great small LEGO Architecture set which would be educational, aesthetic and easy to build. The Empire State Building is another New York icon. Constructed in the 1930s, it's a famous haunt of King Kong. LEGO Architecture has recreated it multiple times, with varying degrees of success. 21046 Empire State Building is almost 23 times bigger than the 2009 standalone model in terms of piece count. Architect Series. Architecture is a theme introduced in 1962 that ended in 1963, but was later re-released in 2008 and is still selling sets at the present date. Since 2008, all the sets have been designed by Chicago architect Adam Reed Tucker. The theme focuses on taking famous structures of unique design, such as Falling Water, and turning The Architect's series went global in 2012 with the release of the Lego model for the famous Sydney Opera House. In 2016, a new series was added to Lego Architecture, titled "Skyline". The series recreates the skylines of cities by presenting a group of miniature Lego models for the outstanding landmarks per each. An architecture concept that was inspired by LEGOs is fittingly rendered in the little plastic bricks with t his model from Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG.) The model uses conventional LEGO bricks to show off the design for LEGO Towers, a proposal for a residential, retail and hotel development in Copenhagen. It's at 1:50 scale, uses 250,000 bricks Lego White House: This set lets you build a detailed model of the United States' most famous residence. It includes over 1600 pieces and stands 12 inches tall when completed. Lego Burj Khalifa: This set lets you construct a miniature version of the tallest building in the world.
