Tue, Apr 6, 1982. Joanie notices a guy looking at Annette during a performance at Delvecchio's, and she and Chachi introduce Annette and the guy, Wendell. They quickly hit it off and decide to get married within three weeks of their first meeting. Prior to the wedding rehearsal, however, Wendell makes a pass at Joanie. In this spin off of Happy Days, newlyweds Al and Louisa Delvecchio move to Chicago from Milwaukee and open a family restaurant. With them is Louisa's son, Chachi Arcola. His girlfriend, Joanie Cunningham, spends the summer in Chicago to be with Chachi and, eventually, moves there to attend Northwestern University.
