Visma will welcome around 20 new investors to the shareholder register, worth over €1bn of equity investment. Hg leads the largest ever European software buyout in a transaction valued at NOK45bn / £4.2bn / $5.3bn. Hg led the buying investor group and will ultimately represent 41% of Visma equity as a result of this transaction; significant minority investors are Cinven, GIC, Montagu and ICG alongside management who will retain a 7% stake in the business. This transaction highlights Arma Partners' deep expertise in Enterprise Software and our ability to build long term relationships to unlock value for Private Equity clients over time, having previously advised HgCapital on the sale of e-conomic to Visma in 2015 and on the $3.5bn recapitalisation of Visma in 2014.
