Brent Michael Kutzle (born August 3, 1985) is an American musician, born in Newport Beach, California. Brent is best known for playing the bass guitar and cello for OneRepublic, who are signed to Interscope Records.He has written and performed with various other musicians from both underground music scenes and mainstream acts, including Beyoncé, Cobra Starship, Leona Lewis, Kelly Clarkson Brent Kutzle is the cellist/bassist of OneRepublic. Brent joined OneRepublic in early 2007 after the band's former bassist, Tim Myers, left to pursue a solo career. He started playing the cello when he was in fourth grade, and said thet he would not play for a band that 'would not let him play his cello.'
