I have long loved dinosaurs and so have been interested in reading Schultz's Cadillacs & Dinosaurs series for many years, but since I usually Xenozoic was written and illustrated by Mark Schultz. This is actually an omnibus, collecting the entire Xenozoic Tales 14 issue series originally published by Kitchen Sink Press from 1987-1996. Xenozoic is set in an apocalyptic future where dinosaurs have returned, and the human race is now endangered. The story follows expert mechanic Jack This collects the ongoing tale from 1985 up to 1996. Xenozoic has seen a two-volume Dark Horse collection earlier this decade and the individual issues published by Kitchen Sink Press are still widely available. I was more than surprised to read the closing page that states the adventures will continue and look for more Xenozoic stories. Xenozoic Tales is an alternative comic book by American artist Mark Schultz, set in a post-apocalyptic future. Originally published by Kitchen Sink Press, the series began in 1986 with the story "Xenozoic!"which was included in the horror comics anthology Death Rattle #8. This was shortly followed by Xenozoic Tales #1 in February 1987. Kitchen Sink published 14 issues between 1987 and 1996 and September 20, 2014. This book collects the entire run of the Kitchen Sink Comics version of Xenozoic Tales which was written and drawn by Mark Schultz.
