A Tentmaker is a dedicated, spiritually mature Christian man or woman who views work in light of the Great Commission and as an opportunity to serve the Kingdom of God. Therefore, work is a vital aspect of Christian witness because it provides substantial means of developing relationships, credibility, and contexts for ministry. Paul spent years traveling among the major cities in Asia Minor and Europe, where he shared the message of Christ and planted churches. Adventist Mission is using this same method to reach people for Christ who might otherwise never hear the gospel. With tentmaking, there is no limit to mission, no place where God cannot be seen or heard. Principle 4: Tentmakers provide an example for new believers.
