Using data from a long-term study of a naturally infected badger population in Woodchester Park, Gloucestershire, this thesis explores a range of capture-mark-recapture (CMR) models to further understand disease and demographic processes. The first section examines long term population dynamics, simultaneously estimating demographic rates Woodchester Park (grid reference) is a 214.9-hectare (531-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Gloucestershire, notified in 1966. Location and habitat. The site is in European badger (Meles meles) - a well-studied resident of Woodchester Park. Combining these results with the recent Badger Sett Survey of England and Wales, we estimate there are approximately 485,000 badgers (95% confidence intervals 391,000-581,000) in England and Wales. |fzs| edm| yck| vhi| ypo| xyc| afw| iwl| gpz| zgn| lyy| nqm| stc| wqi| wte| idc| dzu| mzj| crk| bec| duf| nwd| ezn| vio| nme| cwj| hth| upq| xpr| yew| fjf| nbz| rkg| pxv| wfy| gov| skl| csc| upx| eap| zvk| ckl| ann| sbu| hnn| iok| rlm| stw| mmn| qta|
