The UQ Mountain Club (UQMC) is a volunteer led, UQ sports affiliated club that provides a haven for climbers, hikers, and adventure-seekers of all ability levels. The majority of clubs meet on campus and use UQ Sport The UQ Sport Aquatic Centre in St Lucia is open all year round so you can keep going through all seasons. It offers three heated swimming pools: a 50m Olympic-sized pool, a 25m pool and a shallow Program Pool used for Learn-to-Swim lessons. Whether you've never swum before or you're an elite athlete, we have swimming lessons, a class or a Sports Studies. You'll understand the role and importance of sport, and how different social factors can influence motivation and participation. The career fields are diverse, and include journalism, management, PR and The Chicago Manual of Style allows for two different types of reference styles. There is the Notes and Bibliography Style (the subject of this guide), and the Author-Date System (a variation of the Harvard style). While the Notes & Bibliography Style allows for either footnotes or endnotes, this guide will deal with footnotes.
